THURSDAY, OCTOBER 7
LED BY TIGER MCLUEN
GETTING STARTED. FOR ANYONE IN THEIR FIRST 2 YEARS OF MINISTRY.
The first two years of ministry can be hard. We get that. Join us for a morning with
Tiger and YL’s associate staff to help you start off on the right foot. Of course, there
will be coffee, snacks, good conversation and free stuff. Come to learn some
practical steps for going beyond loving God and loving young people, and how
to make sure you can be successful in your ministry setting for as long as
God has you there.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4
LED BY HEATHER FLIES, WOODDALE CHURCH
MINISTERING TO 5TH-8TH GRADERS
Working with middle school students at Wooddale since 1996, Heather knows this age
group! Outside the walls of Wooddale Church, Heather spends a great deal of time as a
youth communicator. Heather is also part of the Youth Specialties CORE training team,
instructing and encouraging youth volunteers across the nation. Summon up your
inner middle school angst and come for a morning to learn new creative ways to
minister to this age group.
